Terms of Service

1. The service

Stack helps Islamic schools manage teachers, students, classes, timetables, progress records, attendance, announcements and fees. Features can differ by role and by the plan a school has chosen, and we may improve or change them over time.

2. Accounts

• Accounts are created or approved by a school. Sign in with the school you belong to.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you think it has been misused.
• Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• The mobile app is for teachers and parents; school administrators and staff use the website.

3. Schools and their data

A school is responsible for the information it and its users add to Stack, for having the right to add it (including information about children), and for who it gives access to. The school keeps ownership of its data. We only process it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Stack unlawfully, or to harass, deceive or harm anyone;
• access data you are not permitted to see, or try to bypass security or access controls;
• upload malicious code or content you do not have the right to share;
• interfere with or overload the service, or copy or resell it without our written permission.

5. Fees and payments

Schools may pay a subscription for Stack as agreed with us. Schools may also collect fees from parents through Stack; those fees are between the school and the parent, and online payments are handled by a third-party payment provider whose own terms apply. Stack is not a party to a school's fee arrangements.

6. Availability

We work to keep Stack available and accurate, but we do not promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Attendance and earnings figures are calculated from the records entered, so schools should review them before relying on them for payment.

7. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Stack at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, if an account is unpaid, or where needed to protect the service or its users. A school can ask for its data to be returned or deleted when it leaves.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Stack is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data or profits, arising from the use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use Stack after a change means you accept it.
